FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Beach Day with the SD&G County Library
July 24, 2017

This Sunday, July 30th, join the SD&G County Library’s Pop Up Library for a day at the beach – experience the Library while also enjoying a day outside along the River.

Use your SD&G County Library card to gain free day access to the beach at Charlottenburgh Park, located at 19788 County Road 2 in South Glengarry. The initiative is a partnership between the Raisin Region Conservation Authority and the Library.

“This is the second year we’ve partnered with the Conservation Authority, to be able to Pop Up at the beach” said Susan Wallwork, Communications & Marketing Librarian. “It’s a great opportunity to showcase both the Park and the Library”.

The Pop Up Library will be set up at the gazebo near the beach from 10am until 4pm. Library staff will be offering interactive activities for the whole family, as well as providing information about Library services. For those that do not already have a Library card, they can register for one that day.
