Featured Database - Mango Languages

The SDG Library is pleased to feature the language-learning online database, Mango Languages, as one of our eResources. ‘Mango’ is free for all SDG Library patrons to use, and it can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection. Each ‘Mango’ lesson combines real-life situations and audio, with simple, clear instructions. Through a wide variety of adaptable exercises and learning activities, learners will pick up on new vocabulary, understand grammatical structures, learn better pronunciation, and ultimately boost their cultural IQ.

Mango Languages offers access to 70 foreign language courses, along with 20 English courses taught in the user’s native language. ‘Mango’ can be accessed at any branch of the SDG Library, remotely, or even “on-the-go”, with apps for both iPhone and Android devices. To learn more about ‘Mango’, stop by your local SDG Library branch and ask staff for more information. Patrons can also check out ‘Mango’ via the Library’s website (https://sdglibrary.ca/mango-languages); for more information, contact the SDG Library at 613-936-8777, ext. 1226.
