Summer will be a whole lot cooler at SDG Library! We're inviting teens/young adults across the Counties to join "Shelf Care Summer", our book club running from June 2 to August 29. Whether you're already a bookworm or just looking for something fun to do this summer, "Shelf Care Summer" is a great way to discover new reads, explore your interests, and win some cool prizes along the way.
Here’s how it works:
- Drop by your local SDG Library Branch to sign up. Registration is in-person only. When you join, you’ll receive a "Shelf Care Summer" welcome pack filled with everything you need to get started, including your bingo card.
- Complete bingo challenges by reading books, visiting your local branch, and exploring SDG Library's collection throughout the summer. Each completed square brings you closer to prizes!
- Claim your prizes all summer long! Some of the fun items up for grabs include custom 3D prints and quirky, collectible buttons, perfect for backpacks, jackets, or lanyards.
There’s no pressure, no set reading list, and no right or wrong way to participate. Just read, relax, and enjoy "Shelf Care" this summer! If you need a little help in choosing your summer reads, why not take a look at this list, carefully chosen by SDG Library staff.
