Pages for Presents

This season, help us give the gift of literacy to children in our community.  At the SDG Library, we believe that literacy is the foundation for a lifetime of learning and it starts with a single book.

Through our Pages for Presents initiative, we’re inviting the community to help us put books into the hands of children who need them most. It’s a simple act with lasting impact.

Here’s how you can participate:

• Visit any SDG Library Branch from November 3.
• Pick up a tag from our Pages for Presents display.
• Purchase a new book that matches one of the options provided on the tag.
• Return the book (unwrapped) to any SDG Library Branch by December 1.
• Prefer to let us handle the shopping? Simply make a monetary donation, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Through our community partners, your donation helps put books into the hands of local children and youth, nurturing a lifelong love of reading.

Early access to books builds vocabulary, sparks curiosity, and lays the groundwork for success in school and beyond. A single story can inspire confidence, connection, and a lifelong love of reading.
