Pages to Presents
This season, help us give the gift of literacy to children in our community. At the SDG Library, we believe that literacy is the foundation for a lifetime of learning and it starts with a single book.
Through our Pages for Presents initiative, we’re inviting the community to help us put books into the hands of children who need them most. It’s a simple act with lasting impact.
Here’s how it works:
- Visit any SDG Library branch.
- Select a tag from our Pages for Presents display (each tag lists a book type and age group).
- Purchase a new book that matches the tag.
- Return the book to the library by November 29.
- Through our community partners, your donation helps put books into the hands of local children and youth, fostering a lifelong love of reading.
Early access to books builds vocabulary, sparks curiosity, and lays the groundwork for success in school and beyond. A single story can inspire confidence, connection, and a lifelong love of reading.
This is more than a holiday drive, it’s a shared investment in literacy, equity, and the future of our community and we hope you will be able to join us.
