Mango Languages
Start the conversation with Mango Languages. Choose courses in over 70 different languages with this online language learning system. You can learn languages like Spanish, French, Japanese, Polish, German, Mandarin or Cantonese Chinese, Greek, Italian, Ukrainian, and more.
You can learn English from 20 native languages. Specialty courses are available. You can create an account and track your progress, or use it with guest access. Mango uses real life situations and conversations to teach new language, so you will gain practical knowledge of the vocabulary. Basic and in-depth courses are available.
Getting Started
Go to the Mango Languages login page. If you are offsite, you will "Sign Up" and enter your email address, library barcode and create a password. Mango Languages will ask you to consent to their data collection policy. Browse or search for the language you wish to learn.
Download the App
Before downloanding the app you will need to login to Mango through your web browser first and create an account. Download the app for iOS or Android. Select "Already have a profile" and login at the bottom of the screen. Enter your email and password that you created while using the web browser.

PressReader Magazines & Newspapers
Read your favourite newspapers online anywhere with PressReader! Full-issue, full-colour newspapers are made available online on publication day, and most titles include back issues. Over 7000 newspapers & magazines in more than 60 languages can be viewed on computers, tablets, and smartphones.
Accessing from home will require an active library membership card, while anyone can use the service at our 15 library branches. PressReader works great in most web browsers, though mobile device users have the option to download and use the PressReader app from either Apple's App Store or from Android's Google Play Store.
Note that some titles may only be available while accessing PressReader directly from a library branch (ex: The Globe & Mail), but most publications are available from home or on the go.

The SD&G and City of Cornwall Online Archives project is a digitized collection of local newspapers and photos dating back to the 19th Century. The archive features thousands of searchable photos and hundreds of thousands of newspaper pages from an array of publications in SDG Counties and the City of Cornwall.
